DescriptionMary Barry was inspired by the colours of the windows of the Honan Chapel for her abstract design. The Red chasuble, symbolizing fire and blood, is used on Palm Sunday of the Lord’s Passion and on Good Friday, on Pentecost Sunday, and on celebrations of Martyr Saints. This detail shows three crosses interlocking at the back of the vestment.
