Johnson & Johnson WiSTEM2D programme
Scholarships of €3,000 each were awarded to five students in January as part of the Johnson & Johnson WiSTEM2D programme. The scholarships were presented by Professor Paul Ross and Liz Dooley of Johnson & Johnson.
The Johnson & Johnson WiSTEM2D programme aims to encourage young women to pursue careers in areas such as science, technology, engineering, maths (STEM) and design as currently, women comprise only a quarter of the STEM workforce. The programme provides funding to support scholarships, mentoring, networking events, careers workshops, site visits and guest speakers.
